I hold a BFA in Drawing and Illustration from the California College of the Arts and an MFA in Studio Art (Painting) from New York University. I have shown nationally in solo and group gallery shows. For the last 16 years I've taught at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia.

Saturdays, January 14 - February 4     

at the Haycock Community Center, 1014 Old Bethlehem Road, Applebachsville

Each workshop is a 4 class series for $200. Payment by check or PayPal. Students supply their own materials. A suggested materials list will be sent prior to the workshop.

Intro to Drawing    Saturdays, January 14 - February 4      10am-12:30pm

$200/series     Pencil/Charcoal

Have you always wanted to draw but been scared to try? Now is the time! With years of experience teaching intro drawing classes I can guide you to developing new skills in a supportive environment. Each session we will draw a simple still life in pencil or charcoal, exploring different techniques for describing form and light. This workshop is also excellent for experienced artists to improve their basic drawing skills.

All-levels Painting    Saturdays, January 14 - February 4     1:30-4pm     

$200/series      Oils or Acrylics

Perfect class for the new or returning painter. Working from a simple still life we will address volume, light and shadow, color, paint mixing, and brushwork. Critique and technical advice for experienced painters as well.
